Our Mission

At Arché Housing, our mission is to provide a stable, supportive, and empathetic environment for young adults navigating crisis or transition.

We offer a therapeutic setting that promotes emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and independence—at a critical stage in a young person’s life when consistent support and nurturing are most needed.

Our approach is holistic and person-centred. Each individual entering our service receives a comprehensive assessment covering all areas of need, difficulty, strength, and resilience. This ensures support is tailored and responsive, allowing young people to build
on their capabilities while addressing any challenges.

We work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary support network. Referrals to specialists such as mental health professionals—are made in line with each young person’s pathway plan and with the consent of the individual, where appropriate. If no clinical intervention is required, none is imposed unnecessarily.

Where needed, access to psychiatric services is integrated into the broader care plan. Behaviour management strategies are designed and implemented by our experienced support staff, working closely with professionals such as social workers, CAMHS, and Youth Offending Services (YOS) to ensure consistency and informed practice. Assessments are multifaceted and may draw on a range of validated tools and instruments, carefully selected based on the young person’s profile. These help us better understand areas such as intellectual functioning, neurodevelopment conditions (e.g. autism spectrum disorder), and overall support needs.

At Arché Housing, we are committed to helping every young adult thrive in a safe, respectful, and empowering environment that promotes long-term independence and positive outcomes.
