Support and Advice

At Arché Housing, we understand the importance of providing meaningful support, guidance, and mentorship to young adults as they transition into independent living. Our service goes beyond just accommodation—we offer high-quality housing combined with personalised support packages to help young people aged 18 and over develop the confidence, life skills, and self-reliance they need to thrive.

We provide a flexible range of support options tailored to individual needs—from low-level daily assistance to 24-hour intensive support. Each young adult receives a Life Skills Assessment on entry, helping us to identify strengths and areas for development, so we can provide targeted, effective support.

Our support services include:

  • Help with managing all aspects of daily living and maintaining a stable, safe home
  • Guidance in engaging with education, employment, and training opportunities
  • Assistance with welfare benefit applications and understanding entitlements
  • Support in developing practical life skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and time management
  • Access to leisure and wellbeing activities that promote a balanced, healthy lifestyle
  • A dedicated keyworker offering 1:1 therapeutic support sessions
  • Support with attending community appointments and engaging with professionals
  • Out-of-hours support for crisis situations or urgent needs

Where required, we also offer enhanced support services, which may include:

  • Health and safety awareness in the home and community
  • Basic literacy and numeracy support
  • Behavioural support and social awareness
  • Education around household responsibilities, fire safety, and bill management
  • Assistance in obtaining key documents like passports or ID

  • Additional staffing for 2:1 support or waking night supervision
